A Montessori environment is epically designed to cultivate the human potential and inspire a love of learning in every individual child.
There are 5 key areas of any Montessori environment; Practical Life, Mathematics, Sensorial, Language and Culture. Children are exposed to music, art, physical education and second languages. With guidance from the qualified directress, your child will be given individual and group lessons in all areas of the classroom. The teachers are trained to follow the child and will help to ignite a love of learning through lessons with specially designed materials. |
"Education is a natural process carried out by the human individual, and is acquired not by listening to words, but by experiences in the environment." - Maria Montessori |
Using prepared individual lessons and specifically designed material, children are given the opportunity to follow their true potential as they learn and develop. Following Montessori philosophy, teachers observe and meet the needs of each individual child, preparing them socially and intellectually for life. Emphasis is on self-discipline, building character, social graces and independence.
